Parsi Wedding Custard / Lagan nu custard baked milk / cream and eggs







No wedding menu Parsi complete without this delicious pudding is baked into law as "Lagan (Gujarati word for marriage) Custard nu" A milk and egg flan is done in small plates or large serving of ground when done by a number of people

My recipe is for 12 to 16.I have not cooked cream, but mixing all the ingredients and cooked it.



Ingredients:

2 cups of milk

2 cans of condensed milk

1 can evaporated milk

½ cup cream

4 large eggs

½ cup sugar or more (add to taste)

1 pinch of saffron

1 tbsp hot water (soak saffron)

1c. Vanilla

2 large slices of white bread, no edges, soaked in a little milk to soften

Grated nutmeg 1 pinch

6 cardamom pods, peeled and crushed seeds


For the filling:

Nuts or Charoli chironji

Almonds



















Method:

Set to soften the bread in milk


Break the eggs in a large bowl, milk, sugar, evaporated milk, condensed milk, cream, sugar, saffron, vanilla, nutmeg and cardamom.














Add the bread soft egg mixture




Pour the mixture into almond butter and nuts dish.Garnish chironji.

The bowl in a large pan and pour hot water around it.

Bake in preheated oven for 50-55 minutes at about 200 ° C

Serve cold or at room temperature.
